BISMARCK, ND ( KXNET ) — Carry The Load will be traveling through Bismarck and Mandan.
According to a news release, Carry The Load is a non-profit that provides ways for Americans to connect to the sacrifices of military, veterans, first responders, and their families.
While the campaign kicked off on April 29, the movement won’t be in Bismarck until May 15, and Mandan on May 15 and 16.
People of all ages are welcome to join to honor and remember our fallen heroes.
This year, people will walk in the National Relay, which spans 20,000 miles, 48 states, and 69 community events — including 33 VA National Cemeteries.
New for this year, the campaign has a new element of innovation for a bigger impact — after registering , volunteers can download the Good Move app — which lets people track their fundraising progress and health activities.

Carry The Loads raises funds to help with the challenges military, veterans, first responders, and their families may face. The goal this year is $2 million in peer-to-peer fundraising.
