CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas - A Nueces County Sheriff's Office deputy fired his weapon in self-defense after a driver brandished a firearm during a traffic stop on the 2600 block of Niagara.The incident occurred around 11:45 a.m. today, according to the Nueces County Sheriff's Office. The suspect fled the scene, and the condition of the suspect is currently unknown.
