(Redwood Falls MN-) Two teens were hurt in a one-vehicle rollover near Redwood Falls Tuesday morning. The state patrol says it was reported on Highway 19 at 9:38 a.m. A car driven by Kylee Jennings of Wabasso was eastbound on 19 when it left the road and rolled in the ditch. Jennings and passenger Juelz Thompson of Morton were both taken to the Redwood Falls Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Both victims are 17.
Redwood Falls man found guilty in Redwood County Court after selling fentanyl to drug task force agents
A Redwood Falls man, Brandon Lee Jones Sr., age 36, was found guilty in Redwood County Court on Feb. 8 of drug sales. According to the Redwood County Attorney’s office, on August 16, 2022, at about 11:15 a.m., Jones sold .876 grams of fentanyl for $150 to a confidential informant (“CI”) during a controlled buy supervised by the agents from the Brown Lyon Redwood Renville Drug Task Force. The sale was arranged earlier in the day via Facebook Messenger between Jones and the CI.

Hearing for Maynard murder suspect delayed
(Willmar MN-) A court hearing Willmar today for a Maynard woman charged with the drug-related murder of a Willmar man has been delayed. 19-year-old Mercedes Carpenter is charged with 3rd Degree Murder, 2nd Degree Manslaughter and 3rd Degree Drug Sales for allegedly selling fentanyl to a Willmar man September 26th of last year. The man was later found dead in the bath tub of his southeast Willmar home and the cause of death was fentanyl toxicity. Carpenter is currently free on $50,000 conditional bail and was slated to appear for an omnibus hearing in Kandiyohi County District Court but her attorney asked for a 1 to 2 month delay while they wait for the results of the extraction of data from Carpenter's cellphone.

(Willmar MN-) A Willmar man was hurt in a one-vehicle rollover north of Willmar Monday night. The state patrol says it was reported at 10:51 p.m. on Highway 71, north of County Road 25 in Lake Andrew Township. An SUV driven by 23-year-old Wilder Espinoza was southbound, left the road and rolled. Espinoza was taken to CentraCare Rice Hospital in Willmar with non-life-threatening injuries, and the state patrol believes alcohol use was a factor in the crash.

A Minneapolis man, Daniel Jerome Peters, age 27, was sentenced in Redwood County Court for felony possession of methamphetamine. According to court documents, On Nov. 17 of last year, a Redwood Falls police officer responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence. Officers learned that there was possible drug activity going on inside, and that one of the people was Peters, who had a warrant for his arrest from Renville County.
