Mount Carmel BMA approves International Property Maintenance Code
The Mount Carmel Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted 7-0 recently to accept the International Property Maintenance Code (IPMC) as a mechanism to enforce property violations. The BMA voted at its April 25 meeting to adopt the policy after contracting SafeBuilt to handle property code violations. SafeBuilt requires the adoption of IPMC to build cases. ROGERSVILLE — The eighth edition of the Amis Mill 10K road race was held Saturday, May 4, at the historic, scenic venue of the Amis Mill Eatery. The USATF-certified course along Bear Hollow Road started and finished at the Amis Mill Eatery overlooking the Big Creek Falls at Amis Dam.
