Twin sisters , Gianna and Tianna Tout-Puissan, born prematurely over two months before their due date , have defied the odds and are set to embark on a remarkable journey at Harvard University .

The 17-year-olds, who graduated last year from Moravian Academy in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania , have shown resilience and determination in overcoming early challenges .

Despite their premature birth , Gianna and Tianna Tout-Puissan excelled academically and athletically, distinguishing themselves as top student-athletes in high school .

Their dedication and hard work have earned them admission to Harvard University , a remarkable achievement considering the university’s highly selective admissions process.

Throughout their high school years, the Tout-Puissan sisters cultivated their passions and pursued excellence both in the classroom and on the basketball court .

While they share many similarities, they also complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses, describing their dynamic as “yin and yang.”

Reflecting on their acceptance to Harvard, the twins expressed excitement and disbelief , describing the experience as surreal.
