NEW HAVEN, Conn. — New Haven’s second recreational dispensary opened on Thursday in the former Long Warf Theatre property on Sargent Drive. Insa, Inc., an independent medical and adult-use cannabis company based in Massachusetts, debuted its state-of-the-art facility, which features a 360-degree shoppable sales floor, beautiful display cases and a motion-censored flower bar that provides authentic aromas of available strains, according to a release from the company.
Schools Official Placed On Paid Leave
New Haven Public Schools (NHPS) Chief Operating Officer Thomas Lamb has been placed on paid administrative leave. NHPS spokesperson Justin Harmon confirmed that a “senior administrator” in the city’s school district was placed on paid leave as of Wednesday “pending the results of an inquiry conducted by a third-party investigator.”
