Two People Arrested After Incident, Leaving the Scene of an Accident
Two people have been arrested following an incident where a person was threatened and later were involved in leaving the scene of an accident. According to a report from Searcy County Sheriff Kenny Cassell posted by KTLO, his office received a report on Feb. 13 from a man stating an individual had made threats against him and harassed his wife.
Lebanon Man Dead In Taney County Accident
A 35-year-old Lebanon man is dead following a single-vehicle accident Friday night on Missouri Highway 76, 1 mile north of Branson. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by Jared D. Napper ran off the road, struck several trees, and overturned. Napper was not wearing a safety device and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Abnormally Dry Conditions Return for Parts of the Lakes Region
The latest map released on Thursday indicates that Barry and Stone Counties along with northwestern Taney County in Missouri as well as parts of northwestern Carroll and Madison Counties in Arkansas are once again at an Abnormally Dry Level, which according to the Drought Monitor indicates an increase of fire risk for those regions.
