BERKELEY HEIGHTS, NJ - In a letter sent to Ms. Gale Bradford, Berkeley Heights Board of Education President, on Thursday, May 1, 2024, Board Member Angela Penna resigned from her position with immediate effect. In her letter, she expressed her gratitude and reflected on her fulfilling experience serving on the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for 15 years and subsequently on the Board of Education for another 4 years.

Penna stated, "It is with a mix of emotions that I write to tender my resignation from the Board of Education, effective immediately. I have recently sold my house and my family, and I am relocating. This change requires me to step down from the board."
