Jewel Just Released an Art Exhibit That Gives Fans a Glimpse Into Her Greatest Love

Jewel has always been an artistic soul, from her beloved music to her poetry book and memoir. And now, she just opened an art exhibit that talks about the greatest love she’s found: loving herself after her mental health struggles.

From May 4 to July 28, fans can see her self-curated 90-minute immersive art exhibit called, The Portal: An Art Experience by Jewel . It is held at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Ark, and is all about a reflection into the peace and love she’s found in life (and it has nothing to do with her beau Kevin Costner.

“I found love…I’m so happy, irrelevant of a man. It has nothing to do with being in a relationship or not being in one,” she said to People . “I’m just happy.”

The exhibit follows three “spheres,” which represent our thoughts and emotions, our physical loves, and our desire to discover the meaning behind what humans are created for; all things Jewel has worked to improve with herself. She talked about the meaning of the spheres in her exhibit to the outlet, saying, “For me, mental health and emotional well-being is a side effect of our three spheres working in harmony. And suffering is a side effect if they aren’t.”

This all came after she started going to therapy again after her divorce from Ty Murray; she wanted to create change for herself and for her life.

And because of that change, she’s never been happier. “I’m more inspired now than I’ve ever been in my life. The most since I was like 19 or 20 years old,” she said.
