Former president of area youth football foundation accused of stealing more than $25,000
JACKSON, Mo. (KBSI) – The former president of the Jackson Area Youth Football Foundation is accused of stealing more than $25,000 from the group’s account. Around April 15, the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff’s Office received information from the JAYF which operates community youth football for grades K-6, that they had discovered the misuse of funds from the JAYF account by the former President/Treasurer Timothy E. Smith.

A provost at a Missouri university has been appointed Indiana State University’s new president, officials at the western Indiana school announced Friday.
