1 person killed in 3-vehicle crash in Muscatine County
MUSCATINE COUNTY, Iowa — A motorcyclist is dead following an afternoon crash in Muscatine County. According to Iowa State Patrol, a motorcyclist riding a 2022 Kawasaki was travelling southbound on Highway 38 shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Monday, June 10. Meanwhile, the driver of a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder attempted to turn westbound at the intersection of Highway 38 and Brookview Road. The motorcyclist struck the Nissan, and the car ended up in the southbound lanes of Highway 38. The motorcyclist continued driving and was then struck by a 2011 Jeep Liberty travelling northbound on the highway.

Convicted of attempted murder, 22-year-old fails to return to Iowa work release facility
DAVENPORT, Iowa – Kamario Corleone Hill, convicted of attempt to commit murder in Scott County, failed to report back to the Davenport Residential Corrections Facility as required Monday night. Hill is a 22-year-old 6'2", 255-pound black male. He was admitted to the work release facility on Feb. 21, 2024.
