3-year-old boy ‘full of love’ drowns in pool while visiting family
MACHESNEY PARK, Ill. (WIFR/Gray News) - A 3-year-old boy drowned in a pool while visiting family in Illinois, according to officials. A family member noticed a 3-year-old boy named Kaden was floating in the pool, unresponsive, shortly before 4 p.m. Saturday at a home in Machesney Park, Illinois. He was pulled from the pool, and CPR was started.

The United Auto Workers report 130 employees at the Stellantis facility in Belvidere will be laid off this week. The announcement comes as the automaker, which has an agreement to reopen the plant, announced the layoffs in March.
