BELOIT, Wis. -- The City of Beloit is replacing playgrounds at four of its parks, and officials want residents to be part of the process.

The city will replace the playgrounds at Rev. U.S. Pride, Christilla, Horace White and Brown Hatchett parks. The replacements are funded through the city's Capital Improvement Plan and with money from the federal American Rescue Plan Act.

Those looking to play a role in the replacement process can fill out an online survey and join a public input session. The session is set for May 13 at 6 p.m. at the Beloit Public Library.

The online survey can be found at the link here .

The playgrounds are slated to be replaced sometime this year.
