7News has confirmed that 38-year-old Cameron Cothran of Bellaire has posted bond and has been released from the Belmont County Jail.

In his arraignment on May 3, the prosecution requested that Cothran’s bond be increased from $50,000 to $100,000, and the judge granted that increase.

But since then, officials confirm that Cothran has posted that $100,000 bond.

Cothran is charged with involuntary manslaughter, evidence tampering and possession of a federally regulated compound.

According to investigators, Cothran dropped his one-year-old daughter off at East Ohio Regional Hospital  in late April and took off.

She was flown to a Pittsburgh hospital where she died four days later, never regaining consciousness.

Officials say Cothran has a criminal history involving drug trafficking
