Waverly baseball falls behind in Division II baseball regional finals loss to Indian Creek
ATHENS — Waverly was working up a rally. Entering the bottom of the seventh inning, the Tigers trailed Indian Creek by five runs. That margin dropped to two runs in the span of four batters. Creed Smith led the inning off with a walk and a stolen base, followed up by a single by LT Jordan that brought him home. A double by Jase Hurd tacked on another run. Hunter Hauck scored another on a sacrifice fly to right field.
