    ‘LED ZEPPELIN’ — The son of the late, great drummer John Bonham puts on a show commemorating his life and music and the band Led Zeppelin. “Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening” is the name of the show, and Jason Bonham leads a band that plays the stellar Led Zeppelin music.     CRAFT SHOW — The Crafty Wonderland Spring Art & Craft Market 2024 is going to be Friday-Saturday, May 3-4, at Oregon Convention Center, 777 N.E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Crafts are for sale and on display to inspire the artist in you. More: craftywonderland.com

    ALL THAT JAZZ — Mt. Hood Community College, 26000 S.E. Stark St. in Gresham, plays host to the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival again, May 3-5. It includes professional performances as well as high school and middle school jazz ensembles. More: mhcc.edu/jazzfestival

    FOREST GROVE FEST — The free, family-friendly monthly event Forest Grove Festival of the Arts features exhibits, live performances and vendors. The celebration of the arts takes place on the Market Stage on Main Street as well as a three-block radius of the Wednesday farmers market starting at 4 p.m. May 1 and June 5.     FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK — Join the Beaverton Downtown Association for a free, family-friendly event featuring local artists and galleries. The self-guided tour through downtown Beaverton allows walk-goers to connect with artists and enthusiasts as well as support local businesses from 6-9 p.m. May 3.     GET YOUR TACOS ON — The NorthWest Taco Fest will be held in Salem’s Riverfront Park on Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event is more than just tacos; it’s a community celebration as well. There will be tacos, events, beverages and more. More: nwtacofestival.com

    LAKE RUN — This year’s Lake Run in Lake Oswego will take place Saturday morning, May 4, with the 10K starting at 8 a.m., the 5K beginning at 8:15 a.m. and the kids’ dash starting at 10 a.m. Since 2019, Milwaukie-based non-profit Northwest Housing Alternatives has organized the event, which serves as the organization’s main fundraiser each year. The 10K course will take runners all the way around Oswego Lake, starting and ending in downtown Lake Oswego. Participants in the 5K will run or walk around Lakewood Bay and up North Shore Road and Iron Mountain Boulevard. Registration: lakeoswegolakerun.org

    GARDENING EVENT — The annual Spring Garden Fair will be held Saturday-Sunday, May 4-5, at the Clackamas County Event Center, 694 N.E. Fourth Ave., Canby. There will be plants, tools, workshops, classes and more to explore during the event that runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $7 for a single day pass and $12 for a weekend pass. The event also offers ticket pre-sales through the venue webpage. And parking is free.     CHURCH FETES 125 YEARS — Aurora Lutheran Church, 15029 2nd St. NE, Aurora, will celebrate its 125th anniversary with a celebration May 4-5 at the church. The two-day event will feature the church’s history through a slide show, photo displays, stories, music, Sunday morning worship and a box lunch.     HEALTHY HILLSBORO 5K — Runners, rollers and walkers of all ages are encouraged to sign up for the 5K fun run starting at 9 a.m. May 4 at Rood Bridge Park, 4000 S.E. Rood Bridge Road, Hillsboro. Registration is required. Cost is $10 for those 18 and older. And stick around for National Fitness Day in the park, featuring Zumba, yoga, vendors and more.     HAGG LAKE FISHIN’ — Calling all anglers: now is your chance to put your line to the test in the second annual Hagg Lake Fishing Tournament in Forest Grove starting at 8 a.m. May 4. Hosted by Washington County Parks, fishers of all ages can join in on the fun and vie for prizes. Registration is required and includes a $10 entry fee. Fishing licenses are mandatory.     CINCO DE MAYO — It’s a big party at Portland’s Tom McCall Waterfront Park when residents celebrate the 37th annual Cinco de Mayo Fiesta — great food and drinks, and dancing and music and everything. Plan for a day out at Waterfront Park, Friday-Sunday, May 3-5, and celebrate. It’s sponsored by the Portland Guadalajara Sister City Association and Treadway Events.     BIKE BEAVERTON — If you want to ride your bike in an open course through town, enjoy Bike Beaverton on Sunday, May 5, from 1 to 3 p.m. At 2 p.m., the Beaverton Police Department Bike Team and Community Fair present an educational safety rodeo. The open course community bike ride takes place from 2-3 p.m. Helmets are required at the event, located at the City Park, Southwest Fifth Street, and Hall Boulevard.
