2026 Indialantic (Fla.) Cocoa quarterback Brady Hart , a Top 10 quarterback in the country, added an LSU offer from offensive coordinator Joe Sloan on Monday. It was a big offer for the four-star prospect, who Sloan saw to kick off the week.

“I’ve been working for that one for a while, just really a dream school of mind,” Hart told On3. “Coach Sloan is awesome, and yeah, it was pretty special. He communicated with the coach, but just said I saw him spin it, and they extended offer. Campus is beautiful. LSU is definitely like a legendary program, historical program. It was pretty pretty cool.”

Sloan’s hosted Hart for a pair of visits already during his recruitment. The development of Jayden Daniels and LSU’s offense impressed.

“We definitely connect on our personality level and he’s just a real cool, laid-back guy that knows a ton about the game football. I like him a lot,” Hart said. “High praise for Coach Sloan’s knowledge of the game and how he develops quarterbacks and definitely excited to keep pursuing this relationship with him and getting to know more about LSU.”

The LSU offer certainly shook up his recruitment overall. He’s planning to get back to Baton Rouge to connect with the staff again.

“Really excited that keep keep building that relationship with coach Sloan and getting back up there again and checking everything out again,” the 6-5, 185-pound prospect said. “Just further my knowledge about that program. It’s definitely one that instantly is in that top bunch.”

Hart doesn’t have a lot of plans set yet, but Michigan and Penn State are a pair of programs he will also get out to. He’s watching a few things as he goes through his process.

“Really at the end of the day, a lot of it comes down to the relationship with the staff and the coaches. My parents wanted me to write down three things that are really important to me,” Hart said. “One’s development, one’s culture, the culture of the team. I want to be around a bunch of guys I like. And then three is a really win a National Championship. I want to be able to go in and have a chance to play for the National Championship every single year. The ultimate goal is to play at the next level so you want to be at a program where they can develop you so you’re put in the best spot to succeed at the next level.”

He was closing in on a decision, but now he’s pushing things way back with new offers that have rolled in.

“This is a question that I get asked a bunch,” he said. “So, I initially wanted to commit like right now actually. I just wanted to commit in the summer before the season and as these new schools have kind of like started to come in Michigan and LSU and hopefully a few more here in the next week, it definitely making me pump the brakes a little bit. I’m definitely gonna probably make a decision after the season.”

“It’s really wide open I’m just kind of soaking everything in and then narrow it down here soon probably after spring. ball Sit down my parents and kind of narrow narrow my list down a little bit.”

According to the On3 Industry Ranking , a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies, Hart is the No. 101 overall prospect in the country, No. 8 quarterback in America and No. 17 prospect in Florida.
