Chief Brand Officer Cody Worsham announces leave from LSU

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A member of the LSU Sports branding team announced they are leaving the university.

Cody Worsham was LSU’s Chief Brand Officer/Associate AD. He oversaw LSU Athletics’ videos, promotions, social media posts and designs, according to LSU .

Worsham announced on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Monday will be his last day at LSU.

“I owe everything to LSU. My career. My family. My friendships. My life. All because of my alma mater,” said Worsham.

Worsham thanked the entire LSU Athletics staff, coaches, athletes, friends and fans.

“The best I can do is say thank you,” said Worsham.

Worsham has been the Chief Brand Officer since 2022 . Before the promotion, Worsham was a digital reporter for the LSU Athletics communications staff. He launched and hosted a few LSU-inspired podcasts. They include “Hey Fightin’ Podcasts,” “Boot Up: The LSU Basketball Podcast” and “Tigers Win.” LSU also credits Worsham for creating the Joe Burrow multimedia series “That’s Joe.”

Worsham has not shared his plans but said he is excited for what’s next.
