    BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Looking for a drink to get your day started off right? Baton Rouge has several smoothie shops that provide a selection of different flavors to choose from.

    There is a variety of options that are offered at these shops that are featured in the capital city including smoothies, smoothie bowls, meal replacement shakes, and energy teas. Different flavors include strawberry, banana, plant power, mango and coconut.

    According to Healthline, smoothies are thick, creamy beverages usually blended from puréed fruits, vegetables, juices, yogurt, nuts, seeds, and/or dairy or nondairy milk.
