National Sauna Week Comes the Hancock
Happy Sauna Week! For the next week, Michigan’s residents are encouraged to take part in a little Finnish tradition that has become enjoyed by many throughout the region. Famously the Upper Peninsula has earned the name the sauna belt thanks to the region’s Scandinavian ancestry and affinity for the steam baths.
Broomball games resume despite weather setbacks
Broomball is back at Michigan Tech. Players hit the ice once again following a weather induced hiatus that left fans eagerly waiting for the return of their favorite winter pastime. After a couple days of colder weather and plenty of work put in by the rink staff, broomball players can finally dust off their brooms and gear up for some action-packed games.
Spring break 2024: what you need to know
Spring break is coming up very soon, and earlier than previous semesters. This year, spring break begins Friday, Feb. 23, with classes resuming on Monday, Mar. 4. While many students will be off campus, some will be staying over break. Students that are living in the residence halls have some things to do before break starts, and should be aware of limited services if staying.
