Lancaster, Ohio – April 30, 2024 – The South-Central Ohio Major Crimes Unit, in collaboration with the Lancaster Police Department and the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, executed a targeted search warrant on April 30, 2024, at 4970 Delmont Rd. in Lancaster. The operation, spurred by an investigation into drug trafficking activities, aimed to disrupt illicit narcotics distribution in the area.
Canal Winchester man charged in 2023 bar shooting that killed one, injured another
Columbus police have obtained an arrest warrant for a Canal Winchester man wanted in connection with a September 2023 shooting that left one male dead and another injured. Kenyatta D. Glass, 37, is charged with murder in the shooting death of 31-year-old Shawn Grooms and the wounding of an unnamed second victim, according to Columbus police. Glass is considered to be armed and dangerous, police said.

PERRY COUNTY − Jason Kramer of Lancaster has been charged with possession of suspected methamphetamine with a firearm specification, a second-degree felony. According to the Perry County Sheriff's Office, detectives assigned to the CODE Task Force conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle suspected of transporting illegal narcotics Monday afternoon in New Lexington. K-9 Bruno was deployed and detected the presence of illegal narcotics inside the vehicle. During the search officers discovered the suspected methamphetamine and a loaded 9mm pistol.
