Free movie, concert lineup announced for Ballston Spa

BALLSTON SPA, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The Ballston Spa Business & Professional Association has announced its free “Concerts in the Park” and “Movies in the Park” series lineups for 2024. The movies take place in Wiswall Park and the concerts are in Lions Music Park.

The concerts will be on Thursdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Lions Music Park is at the Iron Spring Park on Front Street.

• June 27: Ballston Spa Community Band
• July 11: HEARD
• July 18: Fenimore Blues
• July 25: Tom’s House
• August 1: Annual Ice Cream Social with The Union Fire Company Band
• August 8: SIRSY
• August 15: Lustre Kings
• August 22: The Protones

The movies are projected onto the wall of the Front Street Deli building on Front Street in the village. The movies begin at dusk around 7 p.m. or 8 p.m.

• June 7: “Secretariat”
• July 5: “Barbie”
• August 2: “Honey I Shrunk the Kids”

Attendees can bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. In case of rain, the movies will be pushed to the next day.
