Girls who drowned at West Phoenix home identified by police
PHOENIX - We are learning the identities of the two girls who drowned at a home in West Phoenix on Thursday. In a statement released on May 3, Phoenix Police officials say Valentina Ruiz and Penelope Ruiz died at the hospital after they were found in a backyard pool. Both victims were three years old at the time of their deaths.
Woman faces judge, man on the run after deadly fire near west Phoenix
A woman faced a judge, accused of helping start a fire at a business near west Phoenix, while the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is looking for another suspect. Investigators found two bodies after the weekend fire and they say the victims were alive when the fire started. Their identities are unknown.
