YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Mahoning County Grand Jury handed down a new indictment Thursday against A man accused of hitting and killing a woman in Austintown with a truck in March.

James Stehura now faces charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, reckless homicide, failure to stop after an accident and tampering with evidence. All are third-degree felonies.

This comes six days after a Mahoning County Grand Jury handed down an indictment. It listed three of the four charges. The newest is aggravated vehicular homicide.

Stehura is accused of hitting and killing Linda Adams on March 11. The incident happened as Adams was walking along Lancaster Driver near Carlisle Avenue in Austintown.

The 66-year-old woman was walking with someone else but they weren’t hurt.

Stehura drove away but later on, investigators found the truck in Mineral Ridge and traced it back to him.

Stehura turned himself in after an arrest warrant was issued on April 2. He was arraigned the next day and his bond was set at $15,000 and he’s been free since posting it that day.
