Coming out of a busy week in the college basketball transfer portal with an array of impactful moves, CBS Sports' has updated its Top 25 and 1 rankings ahead of the 2024 season which reflects many of these roster changes. Alabama's surge under Nate Oats includes four transfers in the last three weeks — Clifford Omoruyi (Rutgers), Aden Holloway (Auburn), Chris Youngblood (South Florida) and Houston Mallette (Pepperdine) — which strengthens the likelihood of another deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

UCLA has picked up a commitment from four-star quarterback Dermaricus Davis, who announced his decision on Twitter moments ago. Davis is technically a transfer, but he's a class of 2024 quarterback who enrolled early at Washington, then saw Kalen DeBoer leave for Alabama. He immediately entered the Portal in January, then pulled out and participated in Washington's spring practice before entering the Portal again toward the end of April.

Colon is listed at 6-1, 180 pounds. He played running back and wide receiver James Monroe High School in Rochester. However, he is being recruited to Syracuse as a safety. Originally part of the 2024 recruiting class, Colon is reclassifying to 2025 and going the prep school route next season. He will attend Trinity-Pawling for his prep year and plans to enroll at Syracuse next spring.
