Seahawks edge Raiders
On Monday, April 29, the Boothbay Region High School girls tennis team defeated the Oak Hill Raiders, 3-2, in Wales. Boothbay improved to 2-1 on the season with the win. 1st singles: Laura Chapman (B) defeated Nhi Nguyen, 6-0, 6-0 2nd singles: Sawyer Blake (B) defeated Kadence Moulton, 6-0, 6-2.
Boothbay Special Olympians dominate in swimming
The Boothbay Region Special Olympics Team traveled on April 26 to Colby College and competed with other athletes from around the state in the only Olympic size pool in Maine again this year for the state Special Olympics Swimming Competition. They have been working hard both dry land and pool training and amazed themselves, coaches and parents at their successes, yet again.
