Undefeated Schroeder softball knocks off rival Thomas

WEBSTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Liana DeValder threw eight strikeouts and allowed just one run as Schroeder stayed undefeated, knocking off rival Thomas 3-1. The loss was the Titans’ first in Section V play this season.

Schroeder scored two runs in the top of the first inning and never lost their lead.

Biz Baglieri and Amber Kohlmeier each had two hits for the Warriors. Baglieri had a pair of runs and DeValder also crossed home in the first.

Olivia Constantino scored Molly Sweeney in the second inning with an RBI single for Thomas.

Schroeder moved to 15-0 with the win while Thomas fell to 11-2. The Titans’ other loss on the season was to Ballston Spa.

Schroeder will visit Victor on Friday, May 3rd while Thomas will host Brighton on Monday, May 6th
