The latest intel Auburn Live could find on several key targets including transfer portal targets–in the rough-cut notes style.

QB – Julian Lewis , Carrollton, Ga. (USC commit)

**Posted on Auburn Live message board “The Corner” on Wednesday evening..

    — Talked to someone more about Lewis. Here are a couple of things from that conversation: This source believes Auburn is the clear frontrunner.. That includes USC, which he is currently committed.

    — I asked about what he would do for other recruits.. I asked because I have seen Lewis at several camps, and never really seen him interacting much with others (This means nothing whatsoever). This source was adamant that Lewis will attract other recruits to join him and that he would actively recruit for Auburn should he flip or eventually commit.

    — If you missed it, I moved my percentage up (from 40 percent to 55 percent), but I still have my doubts that this will all come to fruition. I get a strange feeling about it and not sure how to voice that exactly. I think it has more to do with me not being able to talk to him or being around him–I put a good bit into that kind of stuff. This is my take, not the sources.

TRANSFER LB – Khalil Jacobs , South Alabama

    — Jacobs visited Auburn from Tuesday to Thursday. As of right now, the visit that was originally scheduled for Alabama this weekend has been pushed to next weekend according to BamaOnline . He will also take his Missouri visit early in the next week.

    — With the Alabama visit back on, and Missouri still to go, this is something we will closely track. It sounded as though Auburn was trending big, but there is a hold up for whatever reason.

    — What is the hold up? We’re not sure. Auburn, though, still has some momentum here from what we have heard. Having said that, it’s always smart to monitor these situations closely when a potential commitment is delayed.. even more so with transfers it seems. It seems Jacobs will hold off from making any decisions for now and will check out the other two schools first. We will let you know as this one develops.

TRANSFER CB – Jayvion Cole , San Jose State

    — Auburn has had a string of transfer visitors that have committed and then signed. If the streak is going to stay alive, Jacobs will have to commit and sign with Auburn, then Javion Cole, a San Jose State corner.

    — Auburn, in this case, gets the second visit after he sees Texas. According to our intel, Texas is not going to be easy to beat in this recruitment. However, if he makes it to his Auburn visit, the Tigers’ track record speaks for itself lately. Auburn has a need at corner and probably would not stop at Cole if they were to land him.

    — UPDATE: Cole has committed to Texas

OL – Malachi Goodman , Paramus, N.J., Paramus Catholic

    — We had heard about Goodman being someone Auburn held in high regard. Other than that, we had heard nothing else in relation to Auburn… Until this week. We learned that he was at Auburn for a two-day visit that started Friday.

    — According to our intel, that visit has put Auburn squarely in the mix for the 6-foot-5 315 offensive lineman. We are told that Goodman hit it off with staff and will be back for an official visit in the summer. The dates are being worked out, but June seems likely.

    — Other schools involved are Alabama, USC, Penn State, and Georgia with the Bulldogs and Nittany Lions probably in the best spot. Auburn, though, has quickly asserted itself into Goodman’s recruitment.

DL – Malik Autry , Opelika, Ala. (Auburn commit)

    — Autry, a longtime hometown Auburn commit, has gone on record now saying that Florida is a close No. two. According to our intel, this is true, but Auburn feels very good about holding on to him. For every visit he takes elsewhere, this spring he doubled that with Auburn visits.

    — More than anything, Auburn has had to reiterate that he will be developed at Auburn as well as anyone in the country. This seems to be the biggest pitch for Autry–even bigger than being close to home. Auburn has done well here and feels good as of now.

OT – Tavaris ‘TJ’ Dice , Fairburn, Ga. Langston Hughes (Auburn commit)

    — Dice is firmly committed to Auburn, but also giving Florida, Florida State, and a few others a hard look. Georgia may be more in the mix than it was at one time as well.

    — According to our intel, Auburn feels good about holding on to Dice, but knows it got in on one of the top offensive lineman in the country very early. Therefore, the Tigers will have a fight on their hands all the way down the stretch. This was known when he committed. Dice should be back for Big Cat Weekend at the end of July.
