    Woman wins $1 million twice in less than 3 months in Massachusetts Lottery

    DORCHESTER, Mass. ( WPRI ) — An Attleboro woman has won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery for the second time in 10 weeks.

    Christine Wilson won her second $1 million prize playing the state’s “100X Cash” $10 game. Her first $1 million win came on Feb. 23 from the $50 “Lifetime Millions” game.

    The odds of winning $1 million in the “100X Cash” are 1 in 1,612,800, while the odds of winning that amount in the “Lifetime Millions” game are 1 in 8,400,000, according to the Massachusetts Lottery website .

    According to the Massachusetts State Lottery, Wilson opted to receive her winnings as a one-time payment of $650,000 before taxes.

    Family Food Mart in Mansfield, where she bought the winning “100X Cash” ticket, will receive a $10,000 bonus.
