Glenwood Boys Track Team Captures Team Title at Ram Relays: Shenandoah Second, Atlantic, Third

(Glenwood) Glenwood defended their home track on Monday night. The Rams won seven events, finished second in five others, and scored 170.50 points.

Glenwood won three of the four field events. Payton Longmeyer jumped 21-01.00 to win the Long Jump, Chase Razor went 5-10.00 for the win in the High Jump, and Reagan Skarnulis won the Shot Put with a toss of 52-08.00. Andrew Smith won the 800 meters in 1:58.11, Bryan Keller won the 1600, and the Rams picked up wins in the Distance Medley and 4×200 Relays.

Shenandoah finished second with 134 points. The Mustangs won seven races, including the 800 Sprint Medley, 4×100 Meter Relay, Hunter Kellogg in the 3200, Brody Cullin in the 100 and 200, Alex Razee in the 400, and Cole Scamman won the 400 Hurdles.

Atlantic finished third with 106 points. The Trojan’s top finishers were Cohen Bruce and Xavier Darrow’s second and third-place finishes in the Discus. Colton Rasmussen’s second-place finish in the Long Jump. The senior went 20-10.25. He was also third in the 110 Meter Hurdles. Christian Thompson finished third in the 3200, the 4×800 finished third, the Shuttle Hurdle third, and Devon Fields third in the 400 Meters. The Trojans 4×400 meter relay ended up fourth but ran a season-best time of 3:33.45.
