Scheduled for April 6th, the event includes a sunrise march, a family fun run, and a health festival with free screenings for the community. The initiative is part of the 100 Black Men of America's mission to enhance educational and economic opportunities for African American youth while prioritizing health and wellness initiatives.
During the interview, Dr. Carhee emphasized the importance of physical activity in reducing the risk of chronic conditions that disproportionately affect the Black community. He highlighted the value of regular exercise in improving overall health and well-being, and encouraged families to participate in the upcoming event as a way to promote active and healthy lifestyles.
Mr. Barron echoed Dr. Carhee's sentiments, emphasizing the significance of student involvement in the event.
