All Band Concert

THE PLAINS — The Athens City Schools All Band Concert will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium of Athens High School, 1 High School Road, The Plains.

The concert will feature music performed by all of the district’s band students in grades 5-12.

Admission is $5 per person. The Athens Band Boosters will host a complimentary dessert buffet in the cafeteria.

Support Groups

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) of Athens will host Family Support Groups on Thursday and May 16 at Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare, 100 Hospital Drive, Athens.

Both groups start at 6 p.m.

Food Pantry

MILLFIELD — The Athens County Food Pantry will be open from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at 13183A State Route 13, Millfield, in the Athens County Jobs and Family Services building.

Those who have not visited the food pantry before are urged to bring a photo ID, piece of mail that indicates your physical address and indicate that you meet the pantry’s income guidelines.
