CULLMAN, Ala. – Volunteers gathered at the Cullman City Cemetery on Friday, May 24, to honor those who served in the United States Armed Forces by placing flags at their graves. Under the guidance of the Cullman VFW, community members walked the cemetery, identifying the gravestones of past service members and placing American flags.

The Crossing hosting bass tournament June 8 at Smith Lake Park

Cullman County Commission moves toward airport expansion
CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Commission at its regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, May 21, approved plans for engineering services for the reconstruction of the apron and hangars to be constructed on a new taxiway at Cullman Regional Airport. Airport Director Ben Harrison said to the commission, “What we’re asking you for is the engineering services and design on this project,” Said Harrison, “The reason we’re trying to do this right now is we don’t want to start digging in late September or late October.
