Celina Star Cafe Owners Are Bringing A New Brunch Spot To Preston Road
A fter nearly a decade of serving breakfast and lunch at Celina Star Cafe , the family behind the longtime local diner is preparing something a little different. Unlike the familiar small-town atmosphere of Celina Star Cafe, the new restaurant will feature a more modern setting, alcoholic beverages and a menu that puts a fresh spin on traditional brunch favorites. For owner Toni Mehmedi and his family, the project is about more than opening another restaurant. It's an opportunity to grow alongside the community they've served for nearly 10 years. "Being in Celina 10 years, living in the growth, experiencing the growth, it's just something we would love to give Celina residents, from the ones that have been supporting Celina Star since day one to the new ones that are moving here following the growth," the owners told Local Profile .
