A New Starbucks Drive-thru is Moving Forward in Arden Arcade

Words about a new Starbucks with a drive-thru in Arden Arcade have been floating around since last May, but the project has faced a few challenges. According to the latest updates from Sacramento County, the specific Starbucks location has submitted revised plans in response to approval conditions in March. If the plans are approved, the project will finally be able to move forward.

Located at 2300 Fair Oaks Blvd , the planned Starbucks will occupy the approximately 3,000-square-foot building that was previously a Boston Market Drivethrough. Plans show that the new Starbucks comes with a 996-square-foot dine-in cafe area, a 402-square-foot outdoor patio, and a drive-through lane allowing a maximum of 12 cars to line up.

Starbucks will keep the existing building, but has proposed interior, exterior, landscape, and public sidewalk improvements. The project applicant is Jessica Ganley of Starbucks and design and development is overseen by Los Angeles-based design and architecture firm Valerio, Inc .

What Now Sacramento reached out to Ganley but hadn’t heard back by the time of this coverage. No project timeline is available at the moment.
