YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – Former YSU wide receiver CJ Charleston is headed to Ann Arbor.

The 6 foot, 190-pound senior made the announcement on social media Wednesday, committing to the University of Michigan as a graduate transfer.

Charleston started all 13 games for the Penguins last season and finished with 33 receptions for 467 yards and 4 touchdowns.

He entered the NCAA transfer portal in April.

“This isn’t personal by any means, it’s just business,” said Charleston in his social media post. “All love Youngstown.”

Charleston has played 31 games over the last four seasons at Youngstown State.
