Double-fatal crash located two days later in Ginger Blue

GINGER BLUE, Mo. (KOAM) — McDonald County E-911 received reports of a loud crash sound that was heard on Mo-59 early Sunday morning.

Deputies responded to the area searching, but did not locate a crash.

But Monday, about noon, someone discovered a car covered by debris that had gone off the road and crashed on Missouri 59.

Unbeknownst family had been searching the past two days for a man and woman who were driving a 1985 Corvette .

Missouri State Highway Patrol Troopers investigating the crash say Dane Paulson , 25, and Hevenlee Williams , 27, both of Anderson, Missouri, crashed early Saturday morning.

Their bodies were discovered today and the Missouri State Highway Patrol Major Crash Investigation Unit continue working on the case.

Next of kin have been notified.

The car was hidden in trees lining the 35 mph curve in Ginger Blue. It took an extended period of time as Ray’s Towing removed the car and debris. It required some chain saw work and the car was recovered into an adjacent field.

Noel Fire Dept assisted in the recovery.
