    Grit + Grind adds fourth location in county; holds ribbon cutting with Andalusia Chamber

    The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Grit + Grind Coffee’s newest location at the LBW Student Center in Andalusia on Thursday, May 16.

    Among those in attendance were Grit + Grind owners Eric and Destiny Rowell and staff, AACC Executive Director Mellisa King, AACC Director of Membership Services Maggie Holmes, Chamber President Jennifer McClung, Chamber board members Jason Jessie, Ginny Grimes, Ronnie Levitzke, Katherine Jones, Sarah McClung, and Hayden Raines, LBWCC President Dr. Brock Kelley, LBWCC Director of Workforce and Development Chad Sutton, and contestants/winners from the 2024 Miss Andalusia Pageant.

    Grit + Grind has four franchises in Covington County at Opp, Straughn, and its mobile unit in Andalusia. The business is a national brand that started in Covington County and is one of 10 nationwide.

    Grit + Grind at LBW will have Ellie Ann’s Milk + Cream Bar, exclusive to this location only. The mobile unit at 104 River Falls Street in Andalusia will remain open.

    Hours of operation for the LBW location will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
