AMHERST, Mass. (WWLP) – After a contentious search for a new principal at the Amherst Regional Middle School the district has failed to find someone to fill the role and halted their search.

Multi-million dollar lawsuit filed against Amherst-Pelham Regional Schools for discrimination and defamation

It comes after a lawsuit was filed against the district in December by one of the finalists for the role. Lamikco Magee is an African American special education teacher in the district. She claims she was retaliated against for advocating for marginalized students.
