    American Quarter Horse Association hosting Cattle Level 1 Championships, presented by 6666 Ranch

    AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The American Quarter Horse Association alongside 6666 Ranch is presenting the Cattle Level 1 Championship at the Tri-State Exposition on June 16 through June 22.

    According to officials with AQHA, there is no qualifying requirement with both amateur and youth classes consisting of ranch riding, ranch trail, cutting, boxing, working cow horse, team roping-heading, and team roping-heeling.

    Officials noted the championship is held in conjunction with the AQHA AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse World Championships, AQHA Ranching Heritage Challenge Finals, and NRSHA National Championships.

    Those who wish to enter can complete a Level 1 application on the AQHA website, email the application to worldshow@aqha.org, and enter online on the AQHA website.

    Officials stated the deadline for entry is at 5 p.m. on May 20 with late entries accepted until 5 p.m. on May 31, however, late entries after May 20 may not receive fresh cattle.
