Possible showers and thunderstorms

Good Saturday morning, everyone!

Today is starting out cloudy, damp, and cool with lows in the 40’s and low 50’s. As the day unfolds, a partly sunny sky is expected with blustery north winds of 15 to 35 mph. Temperatures will respond, warming only into the 60’s and low 70’s this afternoon. Also, as of this writing, widely scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible. Any storm that forms could pulse strong to marginally severe with pockets of hail, high winds, and heavy downpours. The tornado threat will be very low, but not completely absent. Please stay Weather Aware, if a storm is near your location. Seek shelter until it moves away.

Tomorrow may start out with showers and embedded thunderstorms, but then turn mostly sunny during the afternoon. High temperatures should top out in the 70’s. Monday and Tuesday will be even warmer with sunshine, windy conditions, and highs back in the 80’s. No rain is expected for either day.
