SC man accused of robbing 3 Walmart stores Tuesday, police confirm
LAURENS, S.C. — A man is in custody after being accused of armed robbery at three different South Carolina Walmart stores on Tuesday, according to Laurens police. Kylique Zyquan Lyonel Alston, of Moncks Corner, went into the Walmart on E. Main Street in Laurens about 10:50 a.m., police said. They said he showed a gun, demanded money from an employee and then left the store.

FIRST ALERT: A few strong storms possible late today!
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Storm chances have returned for one more day ahead of a mainly dry end to the week! Scattered clouds are beginning to fill in ahead of our next system with temperatures that have warmed into the mid to upper-80s away from the coast. With a front to our west and sufficient moisture across the region, we’ll see another chance of scattered showers and storms, including an increasing likelihood for a few strong to severe thunderstorms. A “Severe Thunderstorm Watch” is now in effect for Georgetown, Williamsburg, Clarendon and Orangeburg Counties through 8 PM this evening. Any storms that develop and sustain themselves later today could produce gusty winds, frequent lightning, heavy rain and hail. The storm chance will diminish after sunset this evening.
