KSP: Letcher man stole ATM from convenience store
A Letcher County man has been arrested on felony charges after, Kentucky State Police said, he burglarized a Perry County business and stole an ATM. According to an arrest citation written by KSP Trooper Nathan Roark, in the early morning hours of May 7, Ramey's Quick Stop at Vicco was burglarized.
Four charged with stealing water service
Four people were cited recently on charges that they were stealing water service from the City of Hazard. According to court documents, in each case, water service to the residences had been cut off. But, when the City of Hazard Water Department examined the meters running to the residence, they found that water service was running.

Flat Gap woman arrested following one-vehicle crash
A one-vehicle collision led to the arrest of a Flat Gap woman on charges of alcohol intoxication and leaving the scene of an accident May 10. Deputy Isaac Owens of the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office said he was dispatched to a Flat Gap residence in reference to a woman who called 911 and said she was involved in a single-vehicle crash and could not open the driver’s side door, according to the arrest report.

Scattered showers are possible tonight, and some could be briefly heavy. It will not rain all night, and there is no severe weather threat, but you may need the umbrella for those Friday night plans. Lows bottom out in the lower-60s under a mostly cloudy sky. Some areas of dense fog are also possible.
