Altoona Prospect Pool to open for Memorial Day weekend

ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — The Prospect Pool will be open on Memorial Day weekend for families and community members to enjoy.

The pool will be open from Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27 from noon to 7 p.m. each day. The pool will then close again until the official open date of June 1.

The weekend concession will be serving up some classics like burgers, hotdogs, chicken
fingers and fries, sweet treats, ice cream and fountain drinks. Also available for purchase this Saturday are season passes.

Starting June 1, they’ll be open six days a week until the middle of August. They’ll also have special times marked out for senior swims, water aerobics, swimming lessons, splash hops, free swims and even movie nights.
