ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) — After multiple reported similar incidents to police, an Altoona man was charged with having knives on school property.

Vincent Lee Stone Jr., 68, was charged for the incident at the Altoona Public Library, property of the Altoona Area School District, on Feb. 5, when he allegedly went into the library with two knives, according to charges filed.

Altoona School District Police said they were called to the library at around 11 a.m. Police noted in the criminal complaint that Stone was known by the person calling for help after multiple other run-ins with him at the library.

Police said they arrived to find Stone at a copy machine. When asked if he had knives on him, Stone said he didn’t, the complaint reads. Stone also became verbally and visibly angry, they said.
