FULTON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — An Allentown man is accused of leading state police on a chase Monday evening that led to a crash.

State police out of Everett (Troop T) attempted to stop a white Dodge Truck pulling a trailer with a car on it on the Pennsylvania Turnpike around 7:40 p.m. on April 22 in Taylor Township, Fulton County. According to state police, the trailer had no registration displayed and it failed to stop and continued eastbound on the turnpike.

Troopers continued to follow the truck as it exited the Pennsylvania Turnpike at the Fort Littleton and began traveling north on State Route 522 in Huntingdon County.

Members from state police then deployed spike strips along Chester Furnace Road. The truck was able to travel another two miles before the driver lost control on a left curve, according to state police. The truck and the trailer then rolled into an embankment.
