City of Albuquerque hosting annual 50+ Senior Tech Connect Fair

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – The City of Albuquerque Department of Senior Affairs is teaming up with Adelante DiverseIT and Teeniors to host the annual 50+Senior Tech Connect Fair at Manzano Mesa Multigenerational Center from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. on April 19.

Santa Fe awarded funds to map heat in neighborhoods

The event is free to attend and aims to educate seniors on how to use today’s technology effectively and safely. There will be demonstrations and a variety of technology education stations for attendees to learn from. Attendees can enjoy refreshments and even win prizes at the fair.

Over 30 booths will be in attendance to teach seniors about technology including smartphones. tablets, ride-share services, online banking, online shopping, cyber scams and more.
