    10 live bands performing at Albertville Friendly City Days

    Albertville will celebrate its 37th annual Friendly City Days Festival June 5-9, with country and rock bands headlining the live entertainment on the main stage this year.

    The live music kicks off Thursday, June 6, during Craft Beer Night with Kevin James and the Weary at 6 p.m., followed by Shirts and Skins.

    On Friday at 7 p.m., regional favorite Pete Cavanaugh will perform at the Farmers Market Shelter. On the main stage, the Shane Martin Band Sounds of the South Alabama Tribute will perform at 7 p.m., followed by IV Play at 10 p.m.

    Live music on Saturday evening includes George Jundt Concertina at 4 p.m. during the spaghetti dinner and Sherwin Linton and the Cotton Kings at the Farmers Market Shelter at

    7 p.m. The main stage will feature Travis Thamert at 7 p.m. followed by headliner Tripwire at 9:30 p.m.

    Finally, Sunday at 2 p.m., the Fender Bender will perform at the Farmers Market Shelter.
