Tranquil conditions Tuesday; weather to become increasingly active later this week
High pressure remains in control today. This will lead to tranquil conditions, mostly clear skies and daytime highs in the 60s for many. Tonight, lows will cool into the 30s. The warming trend will continue Wednesday, even as we begin to see a transition to southwesterly flow. Afternoon temperatures will range from the mid-60s to low 70s. We will also begin to see an increase in moisture and cloud cover through the day. This could spark off a few showers and storms Wednesday for areas south of I-90.
