KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Eastbound lanes of I-70 are currently closed at Highway 40 following a motor vehicle crash Saturday, the Independence Police Department said. Police are urging drivers to avoid the area and use alternate routes as crews respond to the scene. Officials said significant travel delays are expected.

New eastbound I-70 ramp closure in Kansas City this week
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Drivers who need to reach downtown Kansas City this week should prepare for a new ramp closure starting Wednesday morning. Crews will close the ramp from Indiana Avenue to eastbound Interstate 70.
